The Gender Policy Report is a non-partisan and multidisciplinary effort, housed at the University of Minnesota, to produce and disseminate timely gender-focused analyses of emerging federal policy proposals based on the best insights from scholarly research. We hope it will become an important source of information for policy makers, journalists, scholars and others.

We particularly wanted to alert you to the section on Labor & Family, which is curated by Carrie Oelberger, at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Will Jones, in the History Department, and Colleen Flaherty Manchester, at the Carlson School of Management. At this time, we would like to invite WFRN readers and members to contribute posts, if you have research that you feel informs policy considerations of the day. We would like to extend a special welcome to the scholars that participated in the policy day last May. We are seeking short, OpEd-length pieces. We would be happy to work with you as you craft your piece. Please feel free to reach out to Carrie Oelberger ( with any questions.
