The Center for the Study of Child Care Employment at the University of California, Berkeley is currently recruiting for three positions:

Research and Policy Associate 
The Research and Policy Associate will support early childhood workforce research and policy projects, and under the general supervision of and in collaboration with academic staff, will undertake research and policy projects. The incumbent is expected to apply expertise in early childhood workforce and/or related policy and research skills to research and project design. S/he will perform complex tasks related to research and analyses, making significant, original contributions; including authorship or co-authorship of published findings.  The first review date for this position is July 13th. The position will remain open until filled. 

Postdoctoral ScholarThe primary responsibilities of the postdoc will be directly related to CSCCE’s SEQUAL research projects and other workforce research initiatives. The Postdoctoral Scholar will play a primary role in research design and implementation, conduct and analyze original and extant data, and prepare material for research and policy reports, and peer review publications. This position is a full-time, one-year appointment. Reappointment for additional years is possible. The position will start in the fall of 2017.  

Program Associate
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to build upon their research, policy, and administrative skills. The Program Associate will support academic staff of the CSCCE and assist with research and information gathering, report preparation and distribution, web updates and online communication, fact checking, and the CSCCE’s ongoing archival project.
