The office wants everything yesterday, things are piling up around the house, you can't remember the last time you and your spouse had fun together, and your kids keep asking why you're always so tired. There's got to be a better way.
The Libra Solution is a way of working, parenting, and living that allows women and men to enjoy – rather than feel perpetually overwhelmed by – the pace of their lives. Lisa D'Annolfo Levey has consulted for two decades to many of the most admired organizations in the world on work-life issues and women's career advancement. She has deep expertise working with law firms and has led the New York City Bar diversity benchmarking research since 2008. Her forthcoming book The Libra Solution: Shedding Excess and Redefining Success at Work and at Home brings together conversations with women and men successfully combining careers and family life, insights from her long-term consulting career, and her own very personal story of raising sons in a dual-career marriage. The Libra Solution brings fresh thinking to the work-life conversation and will both equip – and inspire – you to make time and space for what is most meaningful in your life. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
